Prologue
A steady balance
Truth and Darkness
The forces equal
Preventing chaos or epiphany
Where water caresses sand
A leader who walks in shadows
A fighter in Truth’s war
Will find a destined love
Her untouched strength from birth will rise
And alter the path of time
To create a new beginning
In life as well as war
The balance will be shifted
Light will shine through darkness’ door
But more than one may change the fates
And chaos may surprise
Light can be extinguished
And shadows won’t survive
Black eyes sparked as they memorized the words written in blood and tears on the
parchment. This interpretation of Fate’s whimsy was twisted in nature, but honest. Fire
flashed from strong fingers and the prophecy crumbled to ash. Perfect white teeth
gleamed in a dark smile.
The game of destiny had just begun.
